“Nodal Transference – Abstract Expressionism,” is an emotional piece that explores the idea of transferring information across from one node to the other, from one side to the other. Here the concept of ‘action painting’ has been stripped down, to provide a clear idea of the premise in its simplist form, free from the complexities of how ‘action painting’ usually appears. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
“Nodal Transference – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions is 315 cm in width by 210 cm in height. The painting will wrap around the sides as well so there is no need for a frame as the painting is 20 cms wider and higher than these dimensions to provide the colour wrap.
“Nodal Transference – Abstract Expressionism,” is too big to ship mounted on a stretcher; not only is it logistically challenging to ship the work, but it has a higher chance of getting damaged. So what I am offering here is for the person who buys the work, it is shipped rolled up in a tube together with the stretcher, and when it arrives, a framer will book a time with the buyer to come to your home or office and mount and hang the work for you. So essentially, it is like you are buying the work ready to hang, but the mounting and hanging stage occurs after the work is delivered. The framer’s fee is included in the cost of the artwork; there are no additional costs.
This work was created on the 2nd June 2022.
“Nodal Transference – Abstract Expressionism,” comes with a Certificate of Authenticity with hologram – verification is attached to the image.
FRAMED AND INTERIOR IMAGES
The photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs. For paintings that do not come with a frame, you can add a frame of your choosing. In that case, it will add to the overall dimensions.
If you are an Australian buyer you will get the stretched canvas ready to hang. However, if you are an international buyer, you will receive the painting rolled up in a tube. You will need to have the work stretched onto a stretcher at your local framing store. This is usually inexpensive and stretching instructions comes with the painting.
Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
