“A Portrait of the Future – Abstract Expressionism,” is an emotional depiction of the future and as such is a portrait of the future. I have given the future some form, for there will great things in the future as well as sad and devastating things. I only hope my portrait possesses one thing, hope. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
“A Portrait of the Future – Abstract Expressionism,” is painted with synthetic polymer acrylic and the surface is a professional-grade 12 oz canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is stretched onto an HD stretcher with dimensions 185 cm width by 260 cm in height. The canvas is much bigger so the sides will also be painted after stretching. The work is sold in a tube and not stretched.
The cost of this artwork included being stretched on-site in your home, regardless of where you live, if sold in Australia.

FRAMED AND INTERIOR IMAGES
The photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs. For paintings that do not come with a frame, you can add a frame of your choosing. In that case, it will add to the overall dimensions.
If you are an Australian buyer you will get the stretched canvas ready to hang. However, if you are an international buyer, you will receive the painting rolled up in a tube. You will need to have the work stretched onto a stretcher at your local framing store. This is usually inexpensive and stretching instructions comes with the painting.
Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvas is taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube. This provides reduced shipping rates, avoiding heavy shipping costs. However, the buyer would need to have the canvases remounted. This is always cheaper than paying excessive shipping fees on an artwork. However, bear in mind that all customs duty and related fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
